PREHISTORIC ICA

In the past, the current desert was a vast zone of bays and tropical islands, not very deep water, with very developed fauna and flora. The conditions of conservation were ideal there. Nowadays the desert is filled with skeletons fossils of dwarf whales, giant sharks, dolphins of all kinds, seals, penguins… which used to live in the area in the Cenozoic period. One of the world best spots for observing this kind of fossils!

The tour is including:

• pick up at the hotel, transfer until Ocucaje, whose desert will let nobody insensitive. Then we will visit one of the largest fossils cemeteries on earth, and the cellars of the town of Ocucaje, and come back to the hotel. Including the English or Spanish speaking guide, a cold meal and a water bottle.

Recommendations:

• Solar protection, long sleeves and light clothes. Extra water.
