MACHUPICCHU 2 DAYS

Itinerario:

First day
At 5:30am, our private bus will pick you up at your hotel to go to the San Pedro Train Station. The train ride takes 3 ½ hours to the village of Aguas Calientes, at the base of the Machupicchu Sanctuary. Upon arrival, you will stop at the hostel and then have time for lunch. In the afternoon, you can hike to the highest point on the little Mt Putucusi. From this point, there is a breathtaking view of Machupicchu and the surrounding mountains and valleys. In the evening, you’ll have dinner and return to your hostel.

Second day
Wake-up is early, at 4:30am, if you want to walk up to the Machupicchu ruins and arrive in time for sunrise. It’s a 60 min hike, but you can also ascend by bus (30min.). Your guided visit with the group lasts about two hours and includes the most important sites of Machupicchu. Then, you will have free time to climb Mt Waynapicchu. You will need to go down to Aguas Calientes at 3:00pm to catch the Vistadome train service or at 4:20pm to catch the Backpacker train service for the return train ride to Cusco. Cusco arrival is around 8:20pm. You will then be delivered to your hotel.
