TOUR TO UROS ISLAND – HALF DAY

The floating island of Uros (3810m above sea level) is located few minutes away from the city of Puno (3817m above sea level), it is one of the most visited islands by tourists because it allows to know more about people’s social and cultural traditions w in a short time. You will have a special welcome in your visit, sharing a great moment in this enchanting island.

Itinerary:

Pick up at the hotel. This service will be done in two schedules: in the morning at 8.40am and in the afternoon at 2:40pm. The tour has a duration of 2 hours. During this journey you will be able to enjoy a panoramic view from the lagoon to the city and a diversity of flora and fauna in the area. Once you arrive to the island the guide will explain a lot about the costumes, the food and activities of the people in the area. After a journey in its artisanal market we will be able to go in the Totora floats, experiencing the most usual means of transportation in this island. Finally we will return to the city leaving everyone in the hotel.
