MAGICAL CUSCO AND PUNO– 06 DAYS

Our six-day program is designed so that you can get to know the city of Cusco and also the highest lake in the world, Titicaca in Puno. You will enjoy a wonderful experience in a few days doing tourism in Peru.

Itinerary of our program :

Day 01: Cusco – Tour in the city.
Greeting at your arrival to the airport in Cusco and transfer to the hotel in Cusco. We will offer you coca tea as courtesy and you will have the rest of the morning free to acclimatize. Our bus will pass by your hotel at 13 hours and start the city tour and its surrounding, visiting important attractions like the Cusco Cathedral, the Koricancha museum and the archeological zones of Saccsayhuaman, Qenqo and Tambomachay. After four hours, we will return to the city. Accommodation.

Day 02: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas – Machu Picchu.
Breakfast in the hotel, then at 8am we will start by gathering all passengers from their different hotels in our bus and then head to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first place to visit is the market of Pisaq, its archeological zone and artisanal market. We will then continue until we arrive to Urubamba to have a delicious lunch and in the afternoon we will arrive to the archeological zone of Ollantaytambo to visit the Inca rescinds. After the visit to these places we will take the train to travel to Machu Picchu for about two hours until Machu Picchu or also known as Aguas Calientes. From the train station we will bring you to your hotel. At 8pm the guide will provide a briefing about our next day’s visit to Machu Picchu.

Day 03: Tour to Machu Picchu – Cusco.
Early in the morning you will have breakfast in the hotel, then we will go to the bus station to make a line and embark the bus that will bring you to the main entrance of Machu Picchu, which is 30 minutes away. Here you will get together with the guide and the group to go in Machu Picchu Park. You will have a guided visit that has a length of 3 hours in the most important rescinds and most tourist interest of Machu Picchu. After the guided visit you will have free time to continue visiting other zones in Machu Picchu. In the afternoon we will go downhill on a bus so we can have lunch and then to the bus terminal to go back to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Here you will embark in the bus to return to the hotel in Cusco, arriving at night.

Day 04: Tour in the route of the sun from Cusco to the city of Puno.
Breakfast in the hotel, at 6:30am we bring you to the bus terminal so you can travel to the city of Puno. You will have a long trip from Cusco to Puno, during your journey you will visit places of much tourist interest like Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, La Raya and Pukara and will have a buffet lunch on the way. You will be also be accompanied of a professional guide for the general explanation of the tours and in addition a special service on board. Once you arrive to the city of Puno a transfer personnel will be waiting for you to bring you to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 05: Tour to the island of Uros – Taquile Island in Puno.
Breakfast at the hotel and then at 6:30am we will pick all passengers from their hotels. Then transfer to the embarkation that will bring your to visit the islands. After the guide’s introduction we start the trip and tours. The first place to visit is Uros Island. This island is known for the habitant’s skills at home and building artisanal embarkation in a traditional way made of Totora. After a visit of about one hour, we will continue our journey in a yatch to visit the island of Taquile, place which will be visited great part of the day; knowing people’s costumes. Taquile is known for its people’s warmth and the ability of their textile. We will finally return to the city of Puno arriving at 5:30pm, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 06: Transfer to the airport.
Transfer from the hotel at scheduled time to the airport of Juliaca located at about 45 minutes outside of the city of Puno, for your trip back to Lima.
