BICYCLE TOUR MORAY – SALINERAS ROUTE – 01 DAY

The tour in bicycle across Maras Moray and Salineras (Salt Mines) is a very popular and an exciting adventure activity where this sport in bicycle is practiced. We will enjoy of beautiful landscapes very close to the Sacred Valley and we will have an impressing view of the snow-covered mountains, the road is affirmed and has a good technique to go downhill pretty fast almost towards the end of the journey. There is no need of experience since it is possible to walk in some difficult parts.

Itinerary:

Pick up at around 9am to travel in a van for about 50 minutes until we arrive to Chancadora or Cruzpata in Chinchero. From this place we will go downhill and along Huaypo lagoon until Moray which is the archeological center and here we will have a guided visit and then rest. After box lunch we will go downhill Maras pretty fast and we will arrive to Salineras (Salt mines), here we will stop to see the Salt Mines of the Incas and finally arrive to Pichingoto Bridge until we arrive to Urubamba to take the van and return to Cusco. The trip has a distance of 30km and it can be done in 5 hours.
