FULL DAY UROS – TAQUILE ISLAND

Itinerary:

Pickup from your hotel is at 7:30am. You will be taken to the boat to begin your tour of the islands with your group. The first island is Uros, well known for its very friendly residents; this traditional island maintains its history of artisanal fisheries (Karachi and silverside). The men are skilled sailors of the handmade reed rafts and the women are highly skilled weavers. After Uros, we continue on to Taquile Island to visit the areas of greatest interest. The same warmth of the people makes this trip unforgettable. You will see remnants of the Inca era and markets with traditional crafts and designs. Finally return to the City of Puno at 5.00pm. Transfer to Hotel.
