Itinerary:
Day 1: Lima airport – Cusco - City Tour
Pick up from the Cusco City and transfer to selected hotel in Cusco. Afternoon tour of the city visiting the major tourist attractions.
Day 2: Free Day
Today we have the whole day free to get ourselves ready for the next day’s excursion. Optional: adventure activity or cultural tour of the city such as the Sacred Valley of the Incas, rafting, biking tours, horse riding etc. At 7.30pm we will have a briefing about our Inca Trail the next day.
Day 3: Cusco-Km 82- Wayllabamba (Inca Trail)
Pick up from your hostel in private transport and taken to Km 82 via Chincheros and Ollantaytambo. After two hours travelling we will arrive to the main entrance of the trail. Here we will meet up with the rest of our professional crew who will help us make this trip a success. We start the Inca Trail on the Urubamba river shores until we arrive at Llactapata and important the arqueological zone. Here we will stop for lunch and have a rest before continuing our trek. In the afternoon we will continue our hike until we arrive at our first campsite in Wayllabamba. Dinner and briefing about the next day’s activities. (Lunch/Dinner)
Day 4: Wayllabamba - Pacamayo (Inca Trail)
Andean Breakfast. This will be one of the hardest days on our Inca Trail journey. We walk ascending until we reach the first pass of Warmyhuasnyusca situated at 4,200m. From this spot we will appreciate an amazing view of the mountains and snow before starting our descent until Pacaymayu where we set camp. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Day 5: Pacaymayu - Winyaywayna (Inca Trail)
Today we will have an early breakfast before continuing our Inca Trail. We will start ascending until we reach the arqueological zone of Runkuracay. Here we will find important traces of the Inca culture. After this we will continue until Sayacmarca where we will stop for lunch. In this journey we will find the arqueological ruins of Phuyupatamarca. After another brief hike we will reach our final campsite Winyaywayna where we will have dinner. After dinner we will spend our last night in the company of our porters. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Day 6: Winyaywayna - Machu Picchu - (Inca Trail)
After an early breakfast we will start walking for one and a half hours until we reach Intipunku. From this point we can appreciate the amazing sun rise and panoramic view of Machu Picchu. We will then have a guided tour of the most important aspects of Machu Picchu ( two hours). After the tour we have the opportunity to visit the famous mountain of Wayna Picchu (Optional). Finally we will descent in bus back to Aguas Calientes where we can have lunch (optional). At 5.03pm we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo or Cusco arriving approximately 8.30pm. Drop of to hostel. (Breakfast).
Extra Porter: If you wish to have a porter to carry your personal items the price is USD$90 and can carry a maximum of 15 kilos (for two people this is sufficient).
Sleeping bag rental. . If you are unable to bring a sleeping bag for the Inca Trail this is not a problem. You can also hire one from our office for an additional cost of USD20 for the entire 4 day trek.
Day 7: Free day.
Whole day free for rest after your long Inca Trail trek (alternatively you can choose any of our tours). At night we will have a briefing about the jungle tour the next day.
Day 8: Puerto Maldonado - Boca Pariamanu (Puerto Maldonado)
Travel from Cusco and we will be met at the airport of Puerto Maldonado and transferred to the Puerto Pastora. From here we will take a boat through the Madre De Dios River and Las Piedras until the mouth of the Pariamanu river where we will find our first camp site. At night we will do the traditional “Caimaneo” which consists of observing caimans in the Riviera of the river. During the journey we can appreciate a great diversity of wild flora and fauna such as Capibaras, birds such as eagles, carrots, caimans, giant trees and many other species. Dinner. Camping.
Day 9: Boca Pariamanu - Collpa de Guacamayo (Puerto Maldonado)
After breakfast we will continue our journey up the river for approximately three hours until we arrive to the vicinity of the Collpa de Pariamanu where we will set up our second camp site. We will then start a hike through the jungle where we will appreciate a grand diversity of medicinal plants, wood such as chestnuts or brasil nuts, birds and animals such as monkeus and other species. Return to the camp site to have lunch and take a short break. In the afternoon we can fish in the river and at night visit a small lake of mammals. Return to the campsite.
Day 10: Collpa de Guacamayo - Rio las Piedras (Puerto Maldonado)
After breakfast we will visit the Guacamayos and parrots Clay Clack. We will observe their activity for two hours. We will see how the birds eat the Cliff’s clay rich in salts and minerals, especially calcium which serves to neutralise their organism receives in the moment of feeds on green fruits. We will then return to visit a small lake that has a variety of birds and other specifies. If we are lucky we will be able to observe parrots on the river. We will return back to the Boca del Piedras to set up camp and spend the night. Optional caiman watching activity.
Day 11: Boca las Piedras - Puerto Maldonado - Airport
After breakfast we return to Puerto Maldonado in order to take our flight to Cusco. Here we will be met and transferred to our hotel. Free afternoon. In the evening we will have a briefing about the next day’s activities.
Day 12: Cusco - Puno Titicaca Lake
At the indicated time of 7.30am we will be transferred to the bus terminal (first class) in order to take the bus for 9 hours visiting touristic sights along the way to Puno. We will have a guide and personalised service on board as well as a buffet lunch. Upon arrival to Puno we will be met at the terminal and transferred to our chosen hotel. Briefing this evening regarding next day’s activities.
Day 13: Isla de los Uros - Amantani (Puno)
The tour start at 7.30am with guests being picked up from their respective hotels. We will be taken to the dock and after a brief welcome from the guide we will start our tour of Lake Titicaca. We will first visit the Uros Islands. These islands are known for thes kills of its habitants at home and the making of their handcraft goods from totoras reeds. After a brief look around the island we continue the tour in yacht until we arrive to the island of Amantani (two hours in boat). Overnight in a family home with basic facilities. We will visit the main attractions always accompanied by a guide. Finally we will visit a folklore show typical to the island.
Day 14: Amantani Island - Taquile (Puno)
After breakfast with our host family will carry our journey into the island of Taquile. We will spend most of the day here getting to know the customs of the people. Taquile is known for the warmth of its people and the skill in their weaving. At the same time visiting the Inca and colonial zone. Will will finally return to Puno city arriving approx 4.30pm and transferred to our respective hotels. Overnight.
Day 15: Puno - Arequipa
Early morning bus to Arequipa city (journey six hours). Upon arrival we will be met and transferred to our hotel. After lunch we will start our city tour and visit the main touristic attractions of the city. Briefing in the evening to go over our Colca Canyon tour.
Day 16: Arequipa- Pampa San Miguel (Colca Canyon)
At 6am we will begin our journey towards the town of Cabanaconde. We will arrive to Cabanaconde around 1pm where we will have lunch and rest for about one hour. After this we will start our hike towards Pampa San Miguel to the paradise of the Colca Valley with its typical rustic towns such as San Juan de Chucchu (approx three hours hike) observing the majestical condors and the mystical sepegrina. We will then have dinner and spend
overnight camping. (Lunch/ Dinner)
Day 17: Cosnyihua - Malata (Colca Canyon)
After breakfast at our camp site we will star hiking towards Tapay town for two hours (approx). We will continue visiting the towns of Cosnyirhua, Malata passing through the impressive Pre Inca Herradura walk and fruit trees. We will then pass by the Sangalle hanging bridge and having the opportunity to enjoy an excellent bath in the Oasis pool. Lunch. Free afternoon. Overnight in the campsite. (Breakfast/Lunch/ Dinner)
Day 18: Oasis - Sangalle (Colca Canyon)
Breakfast at 5am. Today we have a long walk towards the Cabanaconde town (approx 3 hours) in order to start the return trek visiting the principle tourist attractions of the area such as the Condor Cruz, Mirador de Antalhuilque, Choqueticho and the small populations that we pass on the journey of the valley. We arrive to Chivay around 12.30pm where we will have lunch. Return to Arequipa at 7pm.
Day 19: Arequipa
Free day for personal activities. Briefing at night to coordinate the Nazca Trip
Day 20: Arequipa - Nazca
In the morning we will be picked up and transferred to the main bus terminal where we will take the bus for approximately 10 hours. We will be met at the bus terminal in Nazca and transferred to the chosen hotel. We have the rest of the afternoon free to rest. Accommodation.
Day 21: Nazca - Flight over Nazca Lines - Ica
After breakfast we will take our flight over the Nazca Lines. After the flight which lasts approx 40 minutes we will take a short tour around the main sights of Nazca. Lunch. In the afternoon we will travel to Ica City (journey approx one hour).
Day 22: Ica City Tour - Paracas
In the morning we will have a tour of the City. We will visit museums and many wineries of the famous Peruvian Pisco. In the afternoon we will continue our journey towards Pisco and finally arrive to Paracas where we will spend the night.
Day 23: Paracas Ballestas Island - Lima
In the morning we will take a tour in yacht to the famous Ballesta Islands. This excursion lasts roughly 2 hours. Returning we will pass by the bay and finally, after lunch we will take a bus to Lima (duration three hours). From here we will be met at the terminal and transferred to our hotel or if you wish transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

Inca Trail includes: Briefing night before departure with guide, private transport from hotel to the beginning of the trek Km 82, Entrance fee to the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu, Professional, local guide (two guides for a group larger than 12 people), tent for two people spacious enough for luggage, mattresses for tents, specialised cook and assistant cook and complete kitchen equipment, meals ( 3 dinners, 3 lunches and 3 dinners) varied meals with vegetarian option. Afternoon tea with snacks every day including coca tea (good for high altitudes), porters (only to carry food and camping equipment) kitchen tent with tables and chairs, fully supplied kitchen tent, accommodation for our porters and cook, first aid kit and oxygen, bus Machu Picchu- Aguas Calientes, backpacker train ticket from Aguas Calientes- Ollantaytambo or Cusco, transfer from train station to your hotel.
