Itinerary:

Day 1: Cusco / City Tour
Pick up and transfer to selected hotel in Cusco city (3399 m). We will have the rest of the day free to acclimatise. Welcome coca tea. At 1.30pm we will begin our city tour visiting the most important tourist attractions in Cusco such as the Cathedral, Koricancha museum and the four arqueological zones: Sachsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pukara and Tambomachay. We will finish the tour at 6.30pm.

Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour / Cusco
Around 8.30am our guide will pick up the passengers from their respective hotels (or place indicated) in order to start the tour. First stop will be Piscaq (2950 m). Along the way we will make stops in order to visit some touristic attractions such as the Corao Market and view points of the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival to Pisaq we will visit the main market (also we can visit the ruins of the same name). We will then continue our tour an pass through the annexes of Calca and Lamay until we reach Urubamba (2871 m) where we will delight in a buffet lunch in a typical tourist restaurant. We will then carry on until we arrive to the arqueological zone of Ollantaytambo (2792 m). Here we will have the chance to visit the Arqueological Park of the same name accompanied by our guide. Finally we will return back to Cusco passing through Chincheros (3780 m). Here we will visit the Colonial Church and also the indigenous market. We will arrive back to Cusco around 7pm.

Day 3: Tour on Quad bikes / Cuzco
After a 9.30am breakfast we will be taken in private transport to a place known as Enaco. Here we will start our circuit on quad bikes passing by the mountains of Cusco. The tour lasts four hours. This tour enjoys spectacular scenery. After the tour we will arrive back to Cusco around 2.30pm. We will have a briefing at night about our next day’s tour.

Day 4: Machu Picchu / Excursion via Santa Maria (biking and rafting)
At 7.30am we will start our tour in private transport. The journey will last roughly 45 minutes. We will start at Cruz Pata place in the sacred Valley of Maras and Moray. We will visit Maras Community and then the archeological sites of Moray, finally we will descend until Salt of mine after 4 hrs biking. Then we will take our bus to cross the Malaga pass (4,200 m) the highest point of this tour. We will continue in bus until we reach Santa Maria district. Here we will settle into our hostel where we will spend the night. If time allows we can partake in rafting (level 3-4) for 2 hours. Evening briefing regarding the next day’s activities.

Day 5: Santa María / Santa Teresa (hike)
After a hearty breakfast we will head off early crossing the Vilcanota River walking through an un pathed walk. Along the way we get a chance to appreciate a variety of fruits from the zone such as bananas, mangos and oranges. We will then take a diversion entering into the fringe of the jungle via a narrow path. We will also appreciate agricultural plantations such as coffee, the yucca and the coca leaf etc. We will arrive at a high point where we can appreciate the valley with a necessary break. We pass a Classic Inca trail with an impressive view and from here we can see the final point of the day. We will have lunch in a family house of the zone. In the afternoon we will arrive at the Cocalmayo thermal baths in the middle of beautiful scenery. Almost sunset we will continue for an additional 50 minutes more or take transport to arrive to Santa Teresa. We will spend the night in a family run hostel.

Day 6: Santa Teresa / Aguas Calientes
After an 8am breakfast we will continue crossing the Vilcanota River via a narrow walk until we arrive at the hydroelectric. This day is also warm but less tiring than the day before’s hike. Upon arrival we will have a good lunch in the area. In the afternoon we will continue via train for two hours until we reach Aguas Calientes town in Machu Picchu. Accommodation. Dinner.

Day 7: Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu / Cusco
Early breakfast before we start our hike up to Machu Picchu at 4.45am (3200 m). The hike will take around one hour. If we are lucky we will be able to catch the sunrise. After this we will have a guided tour of the most important aspects of the ruins. We will then have a few hours free before we climb up the highest mountain Huayna Picchu (2,700 m). From here we can appreciate an amazing view. In the afternoon we must return to the train station in order to return to Cusco arriving at night. Transfer to the hostel.

Day 8: Horse ride / Cuzco
We have the whole morning free. In the afternoon we spend three hours on a horse riding tour enjoying the impressive Cusquenyan landscape always accompanied with someone from the area. We will return to Cusco by foot (30 minutes).

Day 9: Bungee Jump
We will be transferred to the park in the morning located roughly 30 minutes from the centre of town. Today will be spectacular as we will partake in an unforgettable adventure. Jumping from 120 meters into nothingness. Unique to Peru. After the jump we will return to the hotel. Afternoon free and a goodbye dinner show.

Day 10: Transfer to airport
At the indicated time we will be transferred to the bus terminal or airport for our return journey.
