Itinerary:

Day 01: Lima-Cusco-City Tour
After being received at the airport in Cusco, we’ll go to the hotel for a refreshing coca tea and relax the rest of the morning. In the afternoon, at 1:30pm, we begin the visit to the city, including: The Cathedral, the Koricancha Museum, and the archeological zones of: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. We return to the hostel at 6:30pm and then hold a briefing at 7:30pm with the guide about the trip the next day.

Day 02: Sacred Valley Cusco
After an 8:40am breakfast, we begin the tour to the Sacred Valley. We first visit the Pisaq Market and Pisaq Archeological Zones. Then, we continue to Calca and Urubamba for a buffet lunch and visit the archeological zone of Ollantaytambo in the afternoon. We’ll return to Cusco by way of Chinchero, in order to visit its colonial church, the archeological zone and the Chinchero market. We return to Cusco at 6:50pm and hold the briefing with guide about the trip for the next day.

Day 03: Cusco - Aguas Calientes.
After breakfast, we drive to the San Pedro Train Station for our four-hour ride directly to the town of Aguas Calientes, next to Machupicchu. The trip is very comfortable with beautiful landscapes and nice mountains on the route. Upon arrival, we accommodate ourselves in the hostel and reserve the rest of the day to roam freely around the village or go to the hot springs. You can also climb Mt Putucsi, from which there is an impressive view of Machupicchu. In the evening, we dine and hold our briefing with the guide for the visit to Machupicchu.

Day 04 Machupicchu - Cusco
With an early start, we take the first bus or walk up to Machupicchu. A three-hour guided tour of the most important parts of the ruins orients us to this magical place. Then you’ll have free time to climb Mt Waynapicchu or to simply stroll around other areas of interest in Machupicchu. We return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (optional) and take the 4:20pm train back to Cusco or Ollantaytambo, arriving at approximately 8:20pm in Cusco and our hotel.

Day 05: Cusco - Lima
After breakfast, we go to the Cusco airport.
