City Tour

Cusco Destination Travel will take you to the "Qoricancha"; one of the most important shrines in Cusco during Incan times. We will visit an interesting Dominican colonial church built upon the Incan temple's foundations. (Visit: About 40 minutes).
Then, we'll visit "The Cathedral", on Cusco's main square. Inside, we'll be able to appreciate over 300 impressive colonial paintings, many of which come from the Cusco School of Art (Visit: About 40 minutes).
Then, the tour will take us to Sacsaywaman. This site is a megalithic complex which stands on a hill, looming over the city. Today, these enormous stones are still filled with mystery. (Visit: About 1 hour).
The next visit is to Q'enqo, another shrine of the Incan times, located close to Sacsaywaman. It has a solitary limestone outcrop which was used for religious cult activities. (Visit: about 15 minutes).
"Puka Pukara is our next stop. It is the remains of a small Incan fort, built to watch over the road between Cusco and the Sacred Valley. It was a kind of military establishment or outpost, where travelers could rest and where goods, animals, etc., could be kept temporarily. (Visit: about 15 minutes) The tour ends in "Tambomachay", which is also called the Baños del Inca (The Baths of the Inca). It is a finely preserved example of a site for ritual bathing and water worship. (Visit: about 15 minutes).
