Magic city, no doubt about it!! Humanity World Heritage since 1983. Its many archeological sites in the neighborhoods, its architecture colonial will mark you for life! Principal place to access the Machu Picchu (World Heritage as well, and more recently elected like one of the 7 Wonders of the world), many tours will be proposed to you. The INCA Trail is the most famous; watch out, it is necessary to book it several months in advance! To gain the city, you will be able to reach it by plane, train (since Puno or Arequipa) or bus (20h from Lima)

Climate: With an annual temperature of 12ºC, the nights are cold as the mornings! The best period to visit the region extends between April and November

Population: The city counts approximately 1 million inhabitants.
