INCA TRAIL TREK TO MACHUPICCHU
3 DAYS

First Day: Cusco-Chilca-Wayllabamba
We leave from your hotel to Chilca, passing through Chinchero and Ollantaytambo, to begin the trek. From here we start our trek at the first control point. The first place we visit is Llactapata, an important archaeological site where we have lunch and then continue on to our first camp on the banks of the Urubamba River. We dine here and camp for the night.
Second Day: Llactapata - Koriwayrachina.
We breakfast and begin our walk. From here, there is a breathtaking view of two geographical landscapes: mountains and the semi-tropical valley. With this wonderful view, we continue on the riverside path to hike approximately six hours to arrive at the archaeological area of Koriwayrachina where we’ll have dinner and camp.
Third Day: Koriwayrachina- wiñayhuayna- Machupicchu- Cusco
We start an ascent of one hour to the archeological zone Wiñay Wayna and then continue until reaching Intipunku, making note of the fabulous Machupicchu sunrise. Then we descend into this panoramic of the Citadel of Machupicchu, ant take part in this magical place, filled with energy and culture, in a tour of the squares, sacred energy sites, temples, torreones, agriculture and urban zones. We will have a free time in Aguas Calientes before taking the train back to Cusco at 4:20pm.

- Tips for porters, cooks and guides
You should bring:
- Backpack, sleeping bag, poncho (rentable in Cusco for a few dollars), good hiking shoes
- Warm clothing for Inca Trail
- Hat and sunscreen, insect repellent, towel small objects of personal hygiene
- Snacks for the route, camera, extra battery
- Bathing suit, if you want to enjoy the hot springs
- Bring your original passport and ISIC student card
COMMENTS:
Extra Porter: You may require in the case of carrying extra camping equipment or personal items, the cost of $80.00 US dollars this can be charged a maximum of 15 kg for two persons is enough. You can also request half porter whose cost is $60.00 dollars.
Important Note: You must decide whether you want to hire the services of a Carrier extra staff, the same day you request services for the Inca Trail. It is impossible to require these services after you arrive in Cusco.
Sleeping bag: If you can not bring or buy a sleeping bag for Inca Trail, is not the problem; may also purchase for an additional cost of $25 dollars for 4 days.
* NOTE: To make your reservation for the Inka Trail, a non-refundable trek deposit of US$180 and an email notifying us of this deposit must be received by our office. The remainder of the tour price must be paid at our office a minimum of two (2) days before departure. Failure to pay in full before the deadline will result in trip cancellation.
